Fri-Jado has moved its headquarters and production facility from Etten-Leur to Oud Gastel. The new premises are located at industrial area ‘Borchwerf II’ in Oud Gastel (close to Roosendaal), about 15 kilometers west of the company’s previous location.
The new building is equipped with state-of-the-art production technology and enables Fri-Jado to take the next step in the automation of sheet metal work. Fri-Jado’s CEO Laurens Engbers explains: “With our equipment, we have been helping customers to take advantage of the latest trends and developments in their market for over 80 years. Thanks to this new, ultra-modern production facility, we can keep delivering products that meet tomorrow’s standards.”
To create a pleasant working environment, several innovative features have been implemented. The entire building is equipped with a climate control system (which is still pretty unique for a production facility). A lot of natural light enters the production hall through the large frosted glass windows. The building is also energy-neutral thanks to 6,400 solar panels and a heat pump providing heating and/or cooling.
