Fri-Jado is looking for a Business Development Manager with commercial drive, excellent communication skills and an international network within petrol forecourt, convenience store, coffee and bakery chains. Through your efforts, you will ensure that our distinctive proposition becomes even more top-of-mind and is effectively implemented with major international accounts.
In this role, you will position Fri-Jado as a development partner rather than merely a supplier. You will be supported by a stable and mature organisation (87+ years old), with a global presence and a rapidly growing portfolio of major end-users. Fri-Jado has strong after-sales and marketing departments and is present at the most important international trade fairs. Good results are rewarded generously.
What are you going to do?
Identifying market trends and growth opportunities
and provide advice on this matter to management and the Marketing & Communications department.
Identifying priority countries (within Europe) and financial targets
and translate these into market-oriented targets for Export and Account Management.
Researching and evaluating distribution channels and new customers
within the selected markets.
Advising on and negotiating distribution models
with potential customers and partners.
Building and maintaining customer and dealer relationships,
including site visits and product advice.
What Fri-Jado is asking for
- A strong commercial drive and a proven ability to deliver results and close deals successfully
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade; you build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- A relevant international network within petrol forecourt, convenience store, coffee and bakery chains
- Strong analytical skills and a consultative sales approach; you understand and advise complex international clients
- Demonstrable experience in setting up, expanding or adapting (international) distribution networks
- An affinity for technology and at least a completed bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Proficiency in Dutch and fluent English, supplemented by at least one additional foreign language
- Residing in the Netherlands or willing to travel (maximum 1.5 hours) to Oud Gastel
