Fri-Jado HQ and factory are located in Oud Gastel , the Netherlands where we develop and manufacture an extensive line of professional grilling equipment and food displays for hot and cold fresh food presentation. These products are exported to 70+ countries worldwide and implemented in Food Retail (Super and Hypermarket) and Convenience (Petrol, Coffee-to-go, Bakery, etc.) segments. Sales takes place via an extensive distributor network managed by the Export Team, directly via the Business Development Team and via company owned sales offices in the UK, US and France. Fri-Jado has 200+ employees and a yearly turnover of 50+ Million Euro.

You will be part of the Business Development Team, where you closely work together with (Export) Sales, Marketing, R&D and Customer Service. You report to the Director of Sales & Business Development.

International Business Development Manager

The world is changing fast and time-short consumers are driving the growth of Convenience formulas. Fri-Jado has recently developed a patented, top-line of hot & cold food displays, based on long-term, in depth technology- and market knowledge. This range is well received and allows to answer any current demand of the world’s largest Convenience players.

Fri-Jado is therefore looking for a Business Development Manager, with commercial hunger, a great set of communicative skills and an international network in Petrol, Convenience, Coffee and Bakery chains. This ensures, the distinctive proposition will become even more top-of-mind and implemented with large international accounts.

Your role is to position Fri-Jado as a development partner, rather than a supplier. You are backed by a steady and mature (87+ y/o) organization with Global presence and a quickly and steady developed large end-user portfolio. Fri-Jado has strong after-sales and marketing departments and is present on the leading exhibitions. Results will be well rewarded.

Your skills and qualities

  • Professional drive

  • Great problem analyzer / consulting seller
  • Understanding the complexity of large international clients
  • Experience on how to build / adjust a distribution network
  • Existing network and proven track record in international Coffee, Bakery, Petrol and/or Convenience chains
  • Ability to convince and influence all stakeholders at customer level (from for instance C-level, to store design, food director and maintenance manager)
  • Affinity with technology
  • Minimal Bachelor or Master degree (Economics / Business)
  • Fluent English in speaking and writing + at least one other foreign language
