Morrisons launches Market Kitchen food to go format
Morrisons has launched their new Market Kitchen format, combining a grocery with a take away concept. Market Kitchen can best be described as a separate format offering customers the ability to have breakfast, lunch or evening meals prepared by a chef, as well as a range of food-to-go options.
Fri-Jado is proud partner to deliver a self-serve island set-up based on our range of hot and refrigerated Modular Convenience Counters, creating an open and inviting set-up to serve the food-to-go consumer. The counters fulfilled the innovative requirement with their transparent 360°C view and slim design.
“The chefs in our Market Kitchen will use ingredients straight from our famous Market Street to create delicious seasonal meals for customers that are made to order,” said Hannah Munns, Morrisons head of Market Kitchen. “It means that customers can pop in and pick up their next meal while also buying the groceries they need for future meals. And, thanks to our partnership with Deliveroo, customers across Manchester will be able to enjoy their favorite dishes from our menu without leaving their kitchen.”
Well done Morrisons at looking towards the future with great branding on Food To Go!
