Fri-Jado partners with foodservice software platform, Specifi

Fri-Jado has announced a new partnership with foodservice equipment software provider, Specifi. The deal will see the company’s display equipment rolled out across the platform over the coming months.

Kick-starting the rollout, the popular Fri-Jado Modular Convenience Counter (MCC) range was the first to be added to the platform. Later this month, the company’s newest series, the Multi-Deck Display (MDD) will be added before the rest of the portfolio is then uploaded.

Recognised as the leading platform for content creation, design, quoting and project management for foodservice professionals across the world, Specifi has partnered with more than 300 equipment manufacturers and features more than 500,000 products. From CAD drawings to BIM files, catalogues to price lists, Specifi’s suite of software programmes offer a one-stop solution to those throughout the sector.

Being the first time that Fri-Jado has partnered with the Specifi team, the move reinforces the brand’s commitment to supporting dealers, distributors, design houses, specifiers, consultants and project managers throughout the foodservice sector.

On the launch of the MCC range onto the Specifi Studio platform, Gary Thacker, Director of National Accounts at Fri-Jado UK comments:

“We are delighted to be working with Specifi to ensure the Fri-Jado equipment portfolio is accessible and available to all. Working with Nic and the team, we have been able to create accurate 2D CAD, 3D CAD and Revit libraries of our products, starting with the MCC units – the most popular products in our range. Moving forward, we will be adding the innovative new MDD cabinets next, before rolling out the rest of Fri-Jado’s equipment throughout 2022. We must ensure we’re supporting our customers wherever possible. This partnership means that our equipment is even more accessible than ever before.”

Building a platform based on partnerships with leading manufacturers across the globe is just one of the key goals for Specifi.
Fri-Jado is the latest of hundreds of manufacturers that rely on the platform to make standardised, up-to-date product information available to the market. On working with Fri-Jado, Nic Banner, VP of Sales at Specifi adds:

“We are pleased to announce our partnership with Fri-Jado around the world. The company’s reputation for manufacturing and supplying quality display equipment is unrivalled and innovation is at the very heart of their business. We’ve started by rolling out the company’s most popular models and will continue to add to this over the coming months. Ultimately, it’s with the support of companies such as Fri-Jado, that means we can get updated product information into the hands of dealers, consultants and designers – just when they need it the most.”
